Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1970 ford fairline, ford fairline, v8 engine

would like to know the firing order its a 302 V8 engine

Answer
The firing order is 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8. Number one cylinder is on the passengers side of the engine and the cylinders are numbered 1-2-3-4 on that side and the drivers side is 5-6-7-8 There should be a 1 stamped on the distributor cap and the wires go into the cap clockwise.
