Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1928 Packard restoration, quality restoration, quality shop

Question
I am looking for a quality shop to restore a 1928 Packard. I'm not sure what model it is. It's a two door, rumble seat, straight eight with all kind of options. I live in indianapolis Indiana and would like a shop that is a days drive or less. At the same time we want someone that is very good with Packards. Quality is more important than the lowest price. The car has almost no rust and is in very good shape. The running boards are the only thing that shows rust.

Who would you recommend to do a restoration on this car?

Answer
I am sorry, I cannot recommend a shop to you.   That is not what I'm here for.

My advice is to join the Packard Club and get to know the members in your area - they will know who does good work and perhaps have examples of the work for you to inspect.

Contact the Packard club at www.thepackardclub.org

Good luck with your car, and thank you for doing a high quality restoration - the car deserves it!
