Classic/Antique Car Repair: 10 bolt rear swap for a 12 bolt REAR, 1970 chevy nova, chevy nova

i HAVE A 1970 CHEVY NOVA FOUR DOOR THAT IT ORIGINALLY HAD A 6 CYL BUT I REPLACED IT WITH A SMALL BLOCK THAT ALL PERFORMANCE AND I LEFT EVERYTHING ELSE STOCK FOR THE MOMENT CAUSE OF MONEY PURPOSES BUT I AM TAKING MY TIME ON IT IT HAS A POWERGLIDE THAT I AM GOING TO REBUILD AND A 10 BOLT REAR THAT I WANT TO REPLACED IT WITH A 12 BOLT REAR MY QUESTION IS CAN I GET ANY 12 BOLT REAR OUT THERE THAT WOULD FIT ON MY CAR OR MAKE IT FIT?  CAN YOU HELP ME OUT ?

well if you have a 10 bolt in it now-you will have to find a 12 bolt , try to find a  nova  with a 12 bolt at the junk yard, as you must change the banjo. , brakes, axles etc. switch it all over, springs, the hole deal.  if you can find a nova that was smashed in the front and you can get the complete banjo and tyranny if it is a good one. that would be super. is there a reason that you wish to put in a 12 bolt ???
