Question
hi, i have a 1960 corvette and put a new battery in and cleaned the battery terms off, but i have a problem when i drive it a short distance and turn the car off i have a hard time starting it and have to let it sit for a while. could this be a starter problem or wiring problem? thanks, liz

Hi  well I would have it tested to see that it is putting out at least 13+ volts and that the battery is also good. at times when a starter / selonoid is going bad it will start up when cold but when hot it will not re start till iy is cold. so it could be the starter/selonoid or the charging system and how is the fan belt.>..
