Question -
What is the purpose of putting 1.5 & 1.6 rocker arms on a SBC 327ci. engine. Also which valves do they go on. Thank You Rick

Answer -

Rick ;
HI  can  you tell me a bit more- what heads do you have , what valves 2.02 intake . whay do you wish to change them ?
what cam is in it,std ? sol. or hyd. >>
I would use a set of good H.D. 327 fuely rockers or any brand name rockers with a set of good h.d. valve springs inner and outer with new keepers and retainers  with the good valve seals.also good push rods.

  Looking for some more street  pep - ok
well you can change the rockers if you wish and use some h.d. push rods. do you have the anti - pump - up lifters. as they act like solids but they are hyd.  I think they are great for street use. The cam you have sounds good enough as long as you have them adj. right. and the ex.system -I would throw on a new set of headers as that will give you a hell of a boost of horse power.also if you put in a set of gears- 4.11  but- do not go any bigger as 4.56 would be too much for the street and drink up the gas. and as far as the tranny I would put in a zoom clutch set up 3 finger type. w/ a hurst shifter. and as far as the carb. I would go with a bit larger carb.  \ in the range of around a 750 dbl.pmp. and throw in a eletc. fuel pump w/ regulator.and the heads you have are great heads as long as they are good and the valve springs are all h.d. with good seals.  if you do all of this than you will get revs at 7,000 + r.p.m. and it will / should run like all hell.   ok in the event of this info causing any type of accident or death I can not be held accountable for any of the above as it is for referance use only LOL.. ha ha
