Hello Bill,

I had a follow up question for you but I don't know what happened it left the screan so I'll try again
that is agravating I'm almost don and I lool up and the message is gone.
Check that all the ground wires are there and clean.Plus check that the regulator is grounded. If so then you may need to check the regulator. wires in the right place(if you took them off). Question? Its 6 Volts
right. not changed to 1

You may need the reset the regulator! you can check for charging with a volt meter. test the voltage at the battery (NOT RUNNING) around 6 Volts. then run the engine (more than idle) about 1500 rpm and the voltage should be 7+ volts. Whatever you start with(battery voltage not running) add 1 volt to 3 volts more when running! I seen many 6V systems put out 9 volts. A 12 volt system charges at 14.5 V...
Please Email me back whith what you find...

Thomas Woolf....

What do you meen reset the voltage regulator and how do I di that>

I'll check it out tomoro and let you know

Answer
Hello Bill,

Sorry for the delay I have the flu..You may need to "polarize" the system... Use a piece of 14 gage wire, and briefly touch between the "B" or "BAT" and "A" or "ARM" terminals on the voltage regulator. You should draw a spark. One second is long enough.
Hope this helps email me back if that fixed it. Thomas Woolf
