Do you know of likely problems with this tranny or other problems? V-8
with 140k miles.

Hello Bill,

140k is 2/3 the life of the tranny. Thats if it was not used to put a trailer or used in the mountains.Can you email me the tranny type? Plus did they change the fluid? Even if its a stick shift! As for the motor was the oil changed every 3000 or so? Things I have seen with that V8 is valve seals get hard and you get that puff of smoke in the morning. Also timimg chain is ready to be replaced. Email me and tell me what you know that was replaced. Then i can help you more. Thanks for the question!
