Hi Dave; The top stopped half way when trying to retract. I can move it with a jump wire. Where do I look for adjustment or what to replace ?

Naturaly this happened in the middle of a cruse when I was showing off my jewel.
Thanks Jerry

Hi Jerry,

Don't you just hate it when you're holding your breath waiting for the top to do it's thing, and then utter silence!!!

Hey, sorry it's taken a bit to get back to you.  I've actually typed a response twice, but there's SO MUCH info when I try to save or send I lose the data 'cause my session timed out...or some silly computer mumbo-jumbo. Then on top of that the AllExperts system....  Oh enough with that...let's get to the fun stuff: Retractables

The direction I seemed to be headed in my earlier answers was to almost create an on-line shop manual (because retracting the roof is one of the more complex actions and the fault could lie in any number of places), instead I decided I'd better keep this short so I don't lose any information again.

Would you mind doing this by phone, that way it'll save me typing stuff that you may need but you actually don't need?  My number is 925 736-1775 in California.  Why don't you send me a message letting me know if this would be OK and what time/day we could talk.  Go ahead and use the Allexperts follow-up question feature to get back to me.

Thanks

Dave

Answer
Hi Jerry,

Two things:

1.  How's tomorrow, Friday at 7 pm sound?  Let's try it this way:  I'll call you at the 541-476-2929 number, then you'll probably go check this and that after our call, and you can call me back with your findings when it's convenient.

2.  Each of the questions that come my way have to be answered or the Allexperts computer get's all excited.  So for your earlier message today I'm going to use a canned response that won't mean anything, it's just to balance the one answer for every question notion.

I look forward to talking to you tomorrow night.

Dave
