Dodge Repair: 2002 Dodge 5.9/360 Magnum engine

Question
QUESTION: Hi,
I am replacing pistons and cam and need toque specs for 2002 5.9 engine.

Thank you

ANSWER: Hi Mike,
Sorry for the delay but I just found your question in the 'pool' to which it had been referred by Kevin, the other Dodge "expert".
I have the '03 Dodge Ram manual with the engine specs for the 5.9L engine (also for the diesel 5.9L so tell me if that is the type you have). Let me know your email address and I can attach the spec page to an email I will send to you directly. When you tell me you address don't use the "@" symbol, but rather use "at", otherwise the address will be erased automatically.

QUESTION: Hi Roland, yes it's frustrating when trying to look things up with dodge having a 5.9 diesel (Cummings) and a 5.9 gas engines. I was wanting specs on the 5.9 Magnum engine which I called out in the title. Since my original post I found out that a 5.9 Magnum engine is an enhanced LA engine, it has different heads and I suppose other upgraded features as well.  I can't find a source that has ALL various torque specs when rebuilding that engine.
Thank you

Answer
Hi Mike,
So far I haven't found mention of the "Magnum" version of a 5.9L engine in any of my various Chrysler Corp. manuals so I wonder whether there is any reason why the torque specs would be different from the listed 5.9L that is described.
What is the model of the '02 truck that it is in?
I do have the torque table for the 5.9L used in '03 Ram vehicle but what is your VIN number which also would identify the engine used?
As I said, I will be able to send you the torque table once we can ID it as being different and if I can find it. Let me know your email address and I will attach the torque table to it.
