Dodge Repair: Overhead console in 99 Dodge 2500, overhead consoles, dodge 2500

A previously answered question helped me to know how to remove/replace the overhead console - thanks.  However, my problem with the unit is that the display has been incorrect for years; compass not correct, trip info etc not correct.  What do I need to do to repair so this digital display is correct?

I don't have any truck manuals prior to '04 but I do have manuals for cars in the '90's which may use the same console. Are you aware if there is the same unit is in any of the passenger cars? There is a procedure to calibrate the compass shown in those manuals. Which trip info is incorrect? It may be that you can calibrate it but I would need to know which passenger car/year uses the same cosole. Do you recall the plug color and wire colors on the various pins?
The '04 manual I have on CD describes in detail the features and programming and servicing of the compass/minitrip computer as well as the electronic vehicle information center types of overhead consoles. If those were the same in your '99 I could copy the pages for the specific type you have and attach them to an email I would send to you directly. But I would need to know you email address to do that. If you tell me that, do not use the @ symbol but rather us "at", otherwise the program will erase the address and I won't get it.
