Dodge Repair: remove valve body, valve body, harness connector

i have removed all 17 bolts on the valve body on my transmission and still cant get it to come out so that i can replace the solenoid. r there any other tricks to removing the valve body

Reinstall at least 3 of the bolts you removed. Place the shifter in Park. Remove the shift arm from the shaft on top of the transmission. Rotate the shaft counter clockwise 6 detents, this will release the park rod from the park pawl assembly. Depending on thee year of the vehicle there may be a wiring harness connector on the drivers side of the transmission that will also need to be removed.
