Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman mower with a Honda engine, hp honda engine, o clock

Question
I recently had to replace the crankshaft on my Craftsman mower that has a 6.5 HP Honda engine.  The number one the engine say that its a 186cc and the and onother number on the block is GJAAA-1097996.  I had no trouble replacing the crankshaft and associated bearing and bushing, the trouble is the timing belt on the OHV seems to have slipped.  I can seem to find any guides or manual for setting the valve and engine timing online.  I need to know the correct way to set the ingition timing and valve timing on a Honda 186cc OHV mower engine.

Honda is very protective of any info, unfortunately, so I am going on
memory.
The plastic cam gear under the valve cover has two lines cast into it, rotate the gear until those two lines align exactly with the front edge of the block, then slip the belt off and rotate the crankshaft until the keyway is pointing aligned straight up
12 o'clock perpendicular with the front edge of the engine block,
and that puts it in time.
Here is a pic of a junk block, the markings on the cam are hard to see, but this is what I am speaking of.
