Dodge Repair: ENGINE COMPUTER, 2000 dodge intrepid, dodge intrepid

QUESTION: I HAVE A 2000 DODGE INTREPID WITH A BAD COMPUTER.  I HAVE A COMPUTER TO PUT IN IT.  AFTER WE PUT IT IN WILL THE CAR RUN?  OR DOES THE DEALER NEED TO RESET IT?

the gray key means u have an alarm system built into the computer and no way to get around   if u get a used computer that has that in it  or one that does not have it in u  will not be able to start the car. So to answer your question if u have the same part number as the one U are putting it  U should not have an issue.  if it starts up and runs for 3 sends then dies  u have a  computer with that alarm system in it and no way to remove it.
