Dodge Repair: neon 2000 repair, valve cover gasket, crank case

I have oil in the spark plug tubes. Why? Is that normal?

Not normal, easy to fix.

You need new spark plug tube seals and a valve cover gasket.  Follow the instructions in most service manuals like chilton's or haynes and you'll be fine.

p.s. replace your pcv valve while you're at it.  Increased flow inside the crank case will help prevent seal failures.
