Nissan Repair: 2000 Nissan Quest, nissan quest, analog instrument

Question
Hi, the shift indicator on my analog instrument cluster does not move. I checked under the steering column and it looks like there is a broken part that has a small cable attached to it. I've been  loking for it on different websites but I don't know what it's called. If you have a part number or a name I would really appreciate it.

Answer
Hi Gus -

The cable is attached to a speed clip that is supposed to attach to the shift collar of the steering column, and as the collar moves when you shift gears, so does the needle.

My question is, where is it broken? Is the cable broken, clip, or is there a piece of plastic in the clip, indicating that the collar is broken?

Let me know -
