1997 Dodge Neon front turn signals work fine. When
you put signal on the indicators flash rapidly ,but neither back signal light works, just the front ones do. Changed both of the bulbs in the back ,checked fuses back signals still don't work.
Answer -
What you need to do is find the conector at the tail lights and see if you have power there. if you do then the problem is in the light. If not then you need a wiring book and start tracing backwards untill you find power

Most times the problem is in the lights. Front and back lights work off the same fuse and flasher so you know all those are good.

Steve  The regular lights work just not the signal lights, so there is power. could it be the sockets? Thank you

Answer
Yes , It colud be the sockets.  Do you have a test light that you can probe the wires?

If you find where the wires come into the light you should be able to test the wires and see if you have current there
This would also tell you if you have a bad socket.
