Dodge Repair: running hot, neon highline, head gasket

Question
Ok First of all i have a 1996 dodge neon highline SOHC and 2 months after i bought it,it ran hot and put me on the side of the road. So i went and put a water pump on it, then the alternater belt went then i put a new thermostat in it. Finally i had to get a new reservoir, so after i thought it was all over it ran hot again, so today i noticed the radiator hose that goes to the radiator cap is rested on the headers this could be the problem or could it. By the way if you're thinking its the head gasket think again, because when you're head gasket goes your oil is watery and my oil is not.
So i ask is there anything you can tell me that would explain why my car is running hot?

Answer
Head gasket.....

The water in the oil will only be there if the gasket is blown in a way that allowes the water to mix with the oil.

Most neons will blow the gasket in the rear corner of the motor. away from the oil passageway.

this motor is famous for blowing head gaskets
