Dodge Repair: dodge truck want start, fuel pump relay, dodge truck


Question
I,have an 88 dodge truck,that shut down on the freeway at 65 miles an hour.I tried crank without any success.I towed it home.I poured gas in the throttle it cranked.I assumed it was the fuel pump.I checked the line to the throttle, i did'nt see any fuel, i checked the line to the fuel filter,i did'nt see fuel.I took fuel pump off.I, ran a hot wire to the fuel pump it gave the normal harming sound.I'm lost, i dont no what to do next.Should i change fuel pump?Is their a relay?The truck is an 88 dodge 1/2 ton, 5.2 engine,fuel injected.Please help,running solution

this sounds like a fuel pump to me i would change it sometimes they will run out of the truck because they dond have a load on them at the time u are checking them try it let me know pete ps thire is a  fuel pump relay by the battery and check valest reister on the fire wall 5 bucks to change that pete
