Ford Repair: 2005 Ford F150 (4.6L) stalling, air flow meter, vacuum leak

Question
I had my battery replaced Sunday . I followed the owner's manual instructions to help the computer relearn the idle. The vehicle drives fine, but after driving for a while and coming to a stop, the engine stalls/dies. Both coolant and oil have been checked.

Answer
There are two possibilties. You have a vacuum leak. ( usually there is a hose near the intake to the throttle body, where the air snorkle from the air cleaner hose meets the engine or ) remove the air cleaner, sometimes a piece of debris gets stuck on the air flow meter. remove the air intake tube and clean it.  if this fails and you are still stalling, you will need to replace the throttle body
