Ford Repair: Rear blower motor, 2003 ford windstar, ford windstar

2003 Ford Windstar. Mechanic has said the blower motor is shot. How do I remove the side panel in the rear of the van to get to the motor to replace it?

Sorry for the late response. This is no easy quick task but, if you have third row seating, it must be removed. when you open the rear hatch there is a scuff plate at the base of the door, remove it. remove the seatbelt from the side of vehicle. it unbolts with a #50 torx bit, there will be two screws at the rear where a cargo net might attach. remove them. the upper trim panel and quarter panel are held in with snap clips, basically give them a little tug and they should pop out, remove the upper first. if you have other questions please write
