Ford Repair: 94 Thunderbird, d light, best bet

The o/d light keeps blinking on and off and as it does my car jerks as I'm driving it. I was wondering what the problem could be and how much it may take me to get it fixed.

be perfectly honest, the o/d light flashing definatley indicates a concern worth addressing soon. could be as simple as a low fluid concern to a shorted sensor. your best bet given the year of the vehicle is to replace the trans with a used/rebuilt trans- reason being is, should someone fix the problem at hand, another will occur soon.. please kep me posted.. -b-
