Ford Repair: 96 merc sable s/w, drip shield, fluid leaks

Question
Hi Brian:

It's me again, olins. Once again, thank you for your prior excellent advice. I have two new unrelated questions.

1# Do you know where the fuses/relays are for the moonroof on my 96 Sable LE, S/W and what number fuse/relay should I pull? The owners manual does not have a call out for the moonroof on either the panel under the hood or the panel under the dash.

The plastic frame around the drip shield is cracked and if someone tries to open the moonroof it just crushes the plastic. I want to pull the power to the moonroof.

2) I just had brakes done #1,000 miles ago) and the front rotors were cut to minimum. The brakes seem to be grabbing slightly. As I apply them they seem to be a slight bit sensitive. The car continues to slow down slightly even as I back off the brakes, as I approach a complete stop. I don't believe the brakes are dragging since the car, in neutral, rolls easily right after I come to a stop. No fluid leaks and all 4 wheels were done but only the front rotors required turning. Also I sometimes feel a slight chatter as I apply the brakes at slow speeds 10-15 mph.

Once again, thank you in advance,

Answer
let me get back to you on the moon roof but, if you had all 4 wheels done, take it back to your mechanic for two reasons. as far as the dragging concern on this vehicle, most of the time the rear calipers have problems and need to be replaced as far as the pulsation, when you machine rotors to their min. a pulsation quickly occurs.. replace the rear calipers though for the dragging concern
