Question
Have 2000 Ford Focus LX 2.0L DOHC. Was told car running on 2 cylinders. 1st mechanic states need new engine, 2nd mechanic states need valve job & 3rd mechanic states replace coil pack.  Began with replacing coil pack but car won't start. will turn over but not catch.  What could be wrong? Will I have to replace fuel filter?

Answer
Tonya, My background in this subject is somewhat limited, however  make sure that you connected them in the right order.  The connectors are in good condition, and are making good contact with coil.  That all I can offer, I don't think you need to change the fuel filter.  One thing you might want to check, if there is fuel being delivered to the injectors.  And if you can, check if the injectors are in good condition.
