Ford Repair: Intermittent ABS light, abs light, paycheque

Question
In the last week or so, I've noticed that when I brake and then turn (such as when turning at a stop sign or at the top of an off-ramp), my ABS light will come on, stay on for anywhere from 2-5 seconds, and then shut off. It doesn't always happen, but it's been happening more often than not. It doesn't happen if I brake at a light or stop sign and then go straight -- only if I turn right or left after braking. I'm showing no other signs of wear in my brakes (no shuddering or squealing). Could it be due to a wheel sensor being loose or something? And how much would this typically run for diagnostics/repair? And lastly, is this something that could wait until my next paycheque, or is it imperative that I bring it in right away?

Answer
Hello Krista, It is possible it could be a sensor, diagnostics would need to be performed to determine exactly what is causing it. ABS is electronic to when the light comes on just means the system is inactive or not turned on. Hope this Helps Thanks Tony
