Ford Repair: Ford Ranger airbag, airbag system, driver airbag

2002 Ford Ranger, as a father and son project, we bought a crashed Ranger. The driver airbag was deployed. We repaired everything and bought a used airbag on-line, installed it and the light on the dashboard still flashes. Is there something I need to do to remedy this? Thank you, Leo

Hello Leo, Unless there is a test on the airbag system you're not going to know what elese it needs. You've fixed the obivious but still need to figure out the rest. My guess is the module is what is possibly bad, only guessing without proper testing. Hope this helps Thanks Tony
