Ford Repair: 2001 ford taurus, free diagnosis, dpfe sensor

my husband carryed my car in for inspection and was told the egr value was bad.It was replaced with a new one.he took it back and the same code came up please help he was told to clean the lines leading into the egr value which he did.my car is a 2001 ford tarurs24 value six cylinder. I love this car it have 153 thousand miles on it,it runs great. Thanks for your help.

this car probably has a bad dpfe sensor without knowing the code and looking at it myself i don't know for sure but if an egr valve was diagnosed and replaced by the repair facility and that did not fix the problem then they owe you some free diagnosis and repair but if you, diagnosed or replaced the egr valve then the problem is yours and you would owe for any more diagnosis.
have the dpfe tested. good luck.
