Ford Repair: fuel system, fuel pressure regulator, throtle position sensor

Question
I have a 1991 Ford F150 with a 302.  When it runs it smokes heavy black smoke.  It is running very rich.  This morning it wouldn't start.  I checked for spark, it was good.  I checked fuel pressure - it was 35psi.  I checked for injector pulse with a noid light, and as soon as I  crancked the engine it began to fire, but smoked heavy.  EGR valve is not stuck open.  I don't think it is the fuel pressure regulator, because sometimes it runs rich and sometimes it starves for fuel.  Could it be the throtle position sensor?  I have also tried an egnition module and an ECM - but neither made a difference.

Answer
Try removing the fuel rail so the injectors are still in the rali. turn the ignition on to avtivate the fuel pump. if any of the injectors leak than replace thoses injectors, this is what it sounds like. but if the injectors pass let me know, and ill help you track this down
good luck
