Ford Repair: 2001 ford ranger, luck chris, ford ranger

i have a 2001 ford ranger when its cold out or i hit a puddle and the water splashes up it starts to make a loud chirping or whistling noise, it really only happens when the weather is cold what could be making the noise

hey there, this is a normal complaint. that just means there is water getting on the belt and the belt is starting to slip on the pulleys, This just means the belt is starting to wear out. replaceing the belt is inexpensive and should help your noise that you are hearing,
