why doesn't the power lock on the driver side rear door not work on my 2009 ford f150?The message centre also says the that same door is ajar even though it isn't

hey there, i beleive in these trucks the power door locks will not operate on a single door if the body control module sees that the door is open,, if the message states that the door is open as well, then there is a problem with the switch inside that latch on that door. this still should be under warranty, depending on the milage, and considering this is a new truck, parts may take up to a couple of days to get. good luck
