Ford Repair: 1989 ford f250 460 with c-6 auto, ford f250, sensor input

Question
warm engine dies when shifted into neutral or park.  Only error code was 34 EVP sensor. Input voltage is 5volts output voltage of EVP was 0.595volts. Is the EVP sensor causing the engine to die. The rpms in gear are 750- 800 but when put into park or neutral it will drop to 200 and stall out.

Answer
evp sensor is within specs although they can cause a stall i don't think that is your problem-first make sure throttle bore and iac motor is clean-scrub throttle bore with small wooden brush-plastic toothbrush will work but they have been known to snap off fall into intake. follow up if need to.
