Ford Repair: steering column, screw driver, lock cylinder

Question
how do you replace a steering column in a 1982 ford branco. we never used a key sence we goy it but my buddy stuck a screw driver in the key hole and when he turned it it rung off and now even if you put the key in it just dose a full 360 if there is a way to fix it plees tell me cuz the bog in is next weekend

if you have tore inside of column up you can replace just the key and lock cylinder they are inexpensive and can be gotten at local parts house-just ask for key and lock cylinder and instructions will be inside-if you have any problems follow up on this and i will give you further instructions.
