Ford Repair: carburetor, mustang coupe, supply hose

Question
i have a 66 mustang coupe and when i try to start it when its cooled down it doesn't start unless i pour gas into the carburetor and most of the time after it warms up when i try to drive it it cuts off.iv tried using carb cleaner and it did nothing.what could the problem be?should i get a rebuild kit or new carburetor?

Answer
is your choke working cold-how about fuel filter and or pump when hot
make sure your fuel lines are not cracking on engine and fuel supply hose to pump-also at fuel tank is so they can be sucking air-

when hot be sure and check for spark.

either rebuild yours or buy new only a lot of rebuilts are junk.
