Ford Repair: oil in motor, fuel pressure regulator, vacuum hose

Question
i have an 89 bronco and i was driving down the road...it suddenly lost power....i checked the oil and there was a large amount or fuel in the oil? what would cause that? it will start and run....when i try to drive it runs bad....but it idols fine....this is a new one on me...is it the intake gasket?

Answer
bad fuel pressure regulator will cause fuel in oil pull vacuum hose off of regulator on back of fuel rail while truck running and see if it has gas in hose if so regulator bad-leaking injector also will cause fuel in oil-other than that have it checked out. good luck
