Ford Repair: airbag light flashing, light icon, radio shack

Question
I have 1998 Ranger SC w/3.0 engine. The airbag light icon is flashing in the dash, I had it put on a scanner and was told the passenger airbag on/off indicator light was burnt out (lower middle dash by ashtray). I disassembled the part and noticed the light was part of a circuit board. Should I replace the circuit board or is there another option?

Answer
have it checked by a professional if it is a led yes it is part of a circuit board and the led's rarely fail-if it turns out to be that then an electronics shop can repair them-we accidently blew one by touching it with twelve volts when it should have been 4 volts and our local radio shack had an electronics repair facility which was able to repair it for 32.00. good luck.
