Ford Repair: 1996 Ford Taurus--Loud steering squeek, outer tie rods, ford taurus

Hi:  I have a 1996 Ford Taurus which runs great.  However, there is a loud squeeking noise everytime I turn the wheel.  But this hasn't affected the steering at all.
In addition, I noticed a burning smell, with a little noticable fluid on my driveway after parking overnight.

Any thoughts you might have on that would be much appreciated.

have fluid leak checked out

have outer tie rods greased for noise-you may not have a grease fitting on tie rod end if not have someone take a grease needle and puncture boot and have plenty of grease pumped in then work steering wheel back and forth 30-50 times to see if noise goes away-if not look elsewhere but this is very common.
