Ford Repair: Can a GEM be repaired?, fender, switches

Question
I have a F350 2000 7.3 the power window have stopped working. From what I have read the GEM module maybe the problem.  My question is can the GEM be repaired or do I have to buy a new module and replace it.

i haven't never tried but i do find it rare to have a gem module problem on windows-check your motor first-then switches-also wires between door and fender will break in the harness sometimes-you need to actually have it diagnosed instead of guessing it may save you money in the long run. you can check your motor and switch/es at the same time by getting a wiring diagram pop up the switch and check powers and grounds to and from switch and to motor.
