I never received a response to the follow up question, I only received a response that said the question was answered ... but I'm still waiting for an answer to this:

How much to repair a 2" long superficial scratch, with a 1/2" long portion of the scratch down to the metal. On a 2005 Dodge Dakota truck, at the left rear wheelwell area?

they may be able to do a spot repair to it it where they repair the spot in ?? and a eara arounr it . it should run 100.00  if they say they have to repaint the hole panel it may run 400.00 or more no more than 500.00 i would say. but insist on a spot repair . it works with the new paint. we aredoing more of them every day . and you never know it was hit. you may have to look for a shop that does it . they are out there. good luck hope this helps
