Question
I REPLACED THE ENTIRE FUEL PUMP. MY TRUCK STILL SKIPS AND STUTTERS. IT SEEMS WHEN IT GETS WARMED UP THOUGH BECAUSE IT IS OK WHEN I FIRST START IT.AFTER AWHILE IT STARTS BUCKING AND SPITTING.CAN YOU GIVE ME SOME ADVICE?   IE.. DISTRIBUTOR,PLUG WIRES,PLUGS ALSO IS IS THAT HARD TO REWIRE THE WIRES GOING TO THE FUEL PUMP? MAYBE I CAN JUST PUT NEW WIRES IN ALONG THE BOTTOM OF THE CHASSIS AND WIRE TO FUEL PUMP?  THANKS

Answer
why are you fixed on the fuel pump have you tested and actually found you have low or high fuel pressure or are you guessing? plugs/wires/coil/module/injectors/leaky or sticking valves/ignition switch/mass airflow or map sensor/throttle position sensor

all of these can cause your symptoms we need to either find the cause or eliminate it-for example run fuel pressure test if it fails get a good quality pump and install it and i'm not talking about an cheap aftermarket pump-but if it passes leave it alone and move on to something else to test-start with a scan. check connections at battery and grounds on body.
