Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Throttle position sensor, throttle position sensor, buick lesabre

Im working on a 97 Buick LeSabre 3.8 Ltr. I changed the throttle position sensor on this and now it wont shift gears. Please help I have dain bramage. Just kiddin.

Is it possible that you installed the TPS without putting the sensor tab on the correct side of the throttle tab?
It is a VERY common problem, and I have done it a time or two myself.
Double check....make sure the sensor tab is sweeping with the throttle tab.
