Ford Repair: not starting, ford f 150, pumping gas

i have a 1995 ford f-150 300 6 cylinder, it was running fine went to start it the next day, it started but ran rough & then quits, i pumped the gas peddle & it ran but rough, now it just fires but wont start, thank you, jack

this engine is fuel injected pumping gas does nothing unless you happen to have bad tps-has check engine light been on-what do you mean by just fires-do you mean cranks over but no start or are you actually getting spark at plugs and wires. if so do you here fuel pump run for 2 or 3 seconds when you turn key on and if so you need to know fuel pressure is above 32psi. if you have both need to know if you have injector pulse-if you have all three you may have jumped time-if you are missing one of these follow up with me and i will help you.
