Ford Repair: Power Windows Stopped Working, ford taurus, mitchell on demand

I have 2001 Ford Taurus----The windows have all stopped working they are powered and I've checked all fuses and relays to no avail still can not find the problem also the inside dome light is not working and the mirrors all theses items are ailing seems to be is there something else i can check to get my windows to work don't really care about the dome light and the mirrors.....Thanks alot for any info you may have ...

i would be suspicious of  the gem module but you need to get a wiring diagram to check it out-if you have a garage nearby that has alldata-mitchell on demand or identifix  they can get you a diagram but please offer to pay them a few dollars-those programs are around 200 a month plus time/paper and ink. that makes them more willing to help you because that is what they do for a living and i get so many people wanting me to help them and never even say thank you.


mike just to add something seems as these models do have trouble with wires rubbing close to the gem module be sure and check that also
