How do I remove the dashboard in order to replace a high/low switch for heating, ac?

there should be a plastic panel going around the switch and radio etc.
that panel should pop off pay close attention if it goes into panel around steering column lower part may be held by screws-otherwise everything pops off then switch panel will have probably 4 screws holding it-remove it and switch should be self explanatory on removal
