Ford Repair: replaceing brake pads, caliper piston, explorer sport trac

how do i change my brake pads in my 01 explorer sport trac? also about how long does it take to change the pads? can you help me?

Hello Nicolas, You'll have to remove the wheels there is 2 bolts taht secure the caliper to a bracket on each side.use one of the old pads and a c clamp to slowly push the caliper piston in. Do the same on both sides reverse order of removal for installation. make sure to pump the brake pedal before taking the vehicle for a test drive to make sure brake pedal is up and firm. hope this helps Thanks Tony
