Ford Repair: 2003 Ford Focus brake drum, wd 40, hub assembly

Question
How do I remove the brake drums so I can change the brake shoes?

Answer
You'll have to remove the center cap off the rear hub and remove the large nut from the spindle.  With a little pulling and prying the drum and hub assembly should slide off, giving you access to the rear brakes.  Be careful if it's stuck on the spindle at first, if you pull or pry too hard, the sealed bearing could pull apart.  Spraying it with something like wd-40 and letting it soak for an hour will help if it's rusty. Hope this helps,
