Ford Repair: Brakes, caliper brackets, ford f 250

Question
What happens if you don't get any of the bolts put back in the front disc breaks of a 2001 Ford F-250 4x4?  Please provide a detailed description of what would happen the first time you stepped on the break.

Answer
If you left ALL the bolts out of the calipers and caliper brackets, most likely you would ruin your front brakes the first time you used them but thanks to your rear brakes, you would still have some ability to stop.  Without any bolts to hold the caliper brackets in place, the calipers would spin with the rotors until the rubber hoses came apart.  If ONLY the caliper bolts were missing, the brakes would probably work but the calipers could scrape the wheel and make a lot of noise.  Hope this answers your question.
