Ford Repair: Heads, leaps and bounds, 351w heads

Hello, Just wondering if my late model 88 five liter heads will be ok for a budget turbo 70 Windsor 351 motor going in a 87 GT if not can you make suggestions thanks

  The heads will physically fit, but you'll need to drill the bolt holes from 7/16" (5.0L size) to 1/2" (351 size).  Honestly I wouldn't use those heads on that engine, though.  Even a pair of stock 351W heads would flow better.  The stock 5.0L heads will just choke the motor and make less power.  I'd go pick up a set of stock 351W heads and give them a quick port job...they'll outflow the stock 5.0L heads by leaps and bounds.  Hope this helps.
