Ford Repair: 2000 Ford Windstar, luck chris, body control module

We have checked all the doors to make sure they are closed and the door ajar light still stays on and the inside lights stay on what can we do about this?

HI Lisa thanks for asking.
There is probably a stuck "door ajar" switch. There is not much you yourself will be able to do about this. The dealer will have to hook the van up to a special scan tool, the information will let the technician know throught the body control module which door actualy has the stuck switch. Once this is k now the appropriat door can be looked at. But more commonly its the drivers side front door because this is the door used most.
