Ford Repair: Check engine light, ford thunderbird, 1994 ford thunderbird

I have a 1994 Ford Thunderbird that the check engine light keeps coming on. No one can tell me why this happens. Sometimes my car will cut off when this light is on. I am afraid to drive it at this point. Can you help?

Hi Bonnie thanks for asking and sorry for the delay.
The only thing you can do at this point is take it in somewhere to have it scanned. The scan tool will give a code for the failure you are having. I need to know that code or codes to help you any further. Take it to a local dealer or general repair shop. The problem should be easily located after the scan.
