Ford Repair: Ford Windstar 98, ford windstar, vacuum leak

Question
I have a 98 windstar 3.0l, when i come to a complete stop and set a few minutes it starts to shake, and if I try to go when it is doing that it is sluggish then kicks in really hard. I had a air intake control module recently put in and it stopped for a day and started doing it again, but it doesnt shake as hard. The engine light isnt on either. Can you help me?

Answer
I suggest checking for codes, not all problems will turn the light on. Checking codes is one of the first steps in diagnosis.

What you describe could be as simple as a vacuum leak, a MAF sensor, or as deep as a stuck intake runner control. A code check will give a better idea of which area to check out.
