Ford Repair: What year is my 302?, edelbrock intake, casting numbers

I have a complete engine with an Edelbrock intake and holley carb.  I cannot find a casting number in the block.  The heads go state "GT" and also "made in Mexico".  I can only assume it is from the 80's.  Additionally the engine was rebuilt and the block and heads are painted yellow.  Thank you.

 You'll need the casting numbers off of the back of the block.  They should be on the rear passenger side of the block on the bottom side just above the starter.  That'll give you a much better idea of what year the block is at least.  Hope this helps.
